SAT IN Home Tutor for Irvine Newport Beach Lake Forest Mission Viejo Alisa Viejo and Laguna Hills Tutoring Lessons Prep by Sean

Sean is an SAT in home tutor for the cities of Irvine, Newport Beach, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Alisa Viejo, and Laguna Hills. He worked for the Princeton Review from around 2002 to 2006.

    Some of Sean's highlights follow...
  • Trained for in home SAT prep by the Princeton Review.
  • Provides extensive study material for his students, incorporating his training with his own unique approach to tactics and overall test taking strategies.
  • Has 10 years of experience with one on one and small group SAT prep lessons.
  • Personal score of 2370

Sean grew up in the city of Aliso Viejo and attended college at UCI, where he got his bachelor's degree in Business administration. By the time of his graduation he had begun working for the Princeton Review in the Irvine area and decided to make a go at it on his own before joining corporate America. The decision turned out to be a good one. With his business sense and knack for breaking down the difficult concepts of the SAT he was soon making more than his peers and having a great time tutoring students in both one on one and small group settings.

Sean's appraoch to SAT prep can be summed up in one sentance: Study smart and study hard. He's seen many students who had great tutors but who didn't put in the time necessary to do well. He's also seen students study hard but who didn't have anyone to show them the tactics necessary to achieve the score they were aiming for. Sean was frustrated with the cookie cutter methods he was forced to use while working for other companies. He was also frustrated with the payment system. Like the other tutors he would only get about 25% of what the company was charging. Once out on his own he was able to make more and charge less, and more importantly he was able to tutor the way he wanted to. If a tactic or technique was effective he would use it. Anything that wasn't totally effective he would alter it or get rid of it completely. After many years of this he has developed ways to tackel every aspect of the test, and with his experience he's learned to adjust his tutoring program to the needs and goals of each student.

Sean's rate is $65 per hour, with half off an initial consultation for one hour.
