Rick, a native of the West Torrance area, has been tutoring since 2003, has been in our network for one year, and is a well rounded tutor with virtually no weak areas. He has great patience and is amazing with students who have special needs or auditory processing challenges. He is available to tutor math, chemistry, English, and SAT prep in Torrance, Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, El Segundo, and some other South Bay areas.

He got his start tutoring at "Shamrock Tutoring" in Torrance in 2003. He gradually made the transition to private in-home tutoring and has been doing this for the past 4 years.

A former English major at UCLA, he switched recently and is now pursuing an undergraduate degree in food science and Chemistry.

He was also a Special Education Assistant at the Redondo Beach School District.

In high school Rick did well in the academic decathalon, and took AP courses in math, science, English, and history.
