Sahar is a dynamic math and SAT tutor in the Torrance area with great credentials in terms of her experience, scholastic achievements, and results as a tutor with her past and present pupils.
She has an enthusiastic and patient personality and is a favorite among the kids and adults she tutors.
Her best subjects are math and SAT. She was trained for SAT prep by the Academic Advantage. She also tutors most SAT 2 subjects and was trained in advanced tutoring techniques for these subjects.
She is also available to tutor other subjects as listed below.
Sahar’s been tutoring since Junior High, were as a part of National Junior Honors Society, she tutored other students for community service honors, once in high school, she continued tutoring.
After graduating as the Valedictorian of her high school in Miami, Fla, Sahar attended the University of North Carolina where she double majored in Public Relations and Communications studies (3.7 GPA), while in school she tutored other students in math, history and English.
Upon graduation, Sahar came out to California for a job in publishing, and soon decided to continue tutoring and was hired as a tutor for Academic Advantage.
At Academic Advantage, Sahar was apart of the No Child Left Behind program—tutoring young children in a variety of subjects. She was later given the opportunity to be trained in SAT tutoring. After going through SAT tutoring, Sahar tutored students in all parts of the SAT for Academic Advantage. Sahar was also hired as a tutor by Bee Academic where she was given clients to tutor in math. Many of her SAT and ISEE clients are referred to her by former students.
Most recently, Sahar received her Masters in Sports Management, with a GPA of 3.5.
